I am a Freelance Lighting Director with over twenty-five years experience, lighting all types of major productions for ITV, the BBC and Independent Producers including Light Entertainment, Game Shows, Factual and Discussion Programmes, Children's Programmes, Drama, Outside Broadcasts, Stage Shows, News, Commercials and Conferences. The lighting for these productions has ranged from set-ups with a few small lamps to large rock and roll rigs and moving lights. I have also worked as a lighting consultant on numerous projects including fixed rig studios with high efficiency fluorescent lighting and chromakey. I have an electronic engineering background and worked in vision control before moving to lighting. I can operate most lighting consoles if required and even combine lighting, console and vision roles on suitable productions if necessary.
